Appointment setting for a HVAC company
Residential work comes to you. Commercial work has to be gone after, and it is where a shop stops living and dying by weather. Property managers, restaurant groups, small industrial parks and apartment complexes all buy maintenance agreements, and those contracts pay through the shoulder seasons when residential calls dry up.
Nobody in your office is going to make those calls between dispatch and payroll. Trained callers working a built list of property managers and facility contacts in your county can typically book two to six qualified appointments a week for a shop with the capacity to serve them.
The mistake is pitching a maintenance agreement on the first call. The first call books a walkthrough, nothing more. Two weeks in, working looks like a scrubbed list of decision makers with direct numbers, a few appointments already on your calendar, and a script that has been rewritten twice based on what the objections actually were.
